The Illawarra Academy Division of FNSW High Performance Unit is excited to announce the new programs for 2011 - 2012. These include the Pre-Academy Program, Junior & Senior Development Programs. These programs act as a feeder and shadow program to other teams and Academies. Successful players then graduate to the National Pathway through programs such as NSWIS, AIS, A-League Clubs and National representation in the U/17, U/20, Olympics and Socceroos/Matildas.

The Illawarra Academy's direction has changed and will be under the direction of Football NSW and have aligned  their programs including the new FFA National Curriculum.
