This development program identifies talented football players who continue to play with their chosen club team as well as train intensely with Football NSW. Age: Those born in 1999 to 2002

Football NSW have designed an Intensive Development Program aimed at both boys and girls  in which players can train intensively with FNSW highly experienced and qualified staff in conjunction with their chosen team.

With such an opportunity there are limited places available for selection in both our Central Program at Wollongong Uni for Football in NSW and our regional programs in the Northern Academy (Bulli Park) and the Southern Academy (Shellharbour, Myinabaa Oval)

For a small financial investment of $20 (incl. GST) per session you can learn the essential skills needed for football success with top quality instructors who understand the principles of learning and can demonstrate them in a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivating manner.

Football NSW has long been the premier provider of grassroots through to coaching programs for players in NSW. Our coaches and programs have been proven to be amongst the best available to players in this country. The 2012 Programs will be an opportunity to continue enhancing the quality, accessibility and adaptability of our programs. With a shift in philosophy FNSW aim to deliver programs in 2012 that are amongst the best, not only in terms of technical teaching, but also in the teaching of game awareness in line with the FFA’s National Curriculum.

Football NSW aim for their programs to also be the market leader in terms of player development as well as value for money. 

The program is heavily focused on technical development. Training aims to develop player’s techniques and game awareness through specific game related training activities. This program is aimed at developing gross motor skills, including running techniques, spatial awareness, basic body movement and key essential basic soccer skills. There is a big focus on the Fun games that will challenge not only there movement skills but also their thinking skills.

The 2012 programs will be delivered in three training terms. FNSW offer selected players the flexibility and option of choosing to complete either one or more training terms. Details as below:

What the players receive:

• Periodised Annual Training Program
• Online (New) Home Traiming Program

Cost for the program (GST inclusive)

1 session per week per term $200

2 sessions per week per term $400

Payment Scheme:

Must be paid by term and in full by week 2 otherwise child will not be able to continue in the program. This is a directive from FNSW.
